You must be all of the following to vote:

• You must be 18 years old

• A U.S. Citizen

• A Resident of McMinn County

• Not convicted of a felony without rights having been restored according to law.

If you will be 18 before the next election, then you may register to vote prior to your birthday.

• Health Department
• Armed Forces Recruiting Offices
• McMinn County Clerk
• McMinn County register of Deeds
• County High Schools

Registration Deadlines

Registration closes 30 days prior to any election.

All new registration applications must be received by the office or postmarked on or before the date to be eligible to vote in the election.
